Ariel is PhD in Forestry Sciences from the Department of Dendrochronology at the Austral University, Chile. He is also researcher collaborator at the Prairie Adaptation Research Collaborative at the University of Regina, Canada. Ariel focuses on the study of climate change and the ecology of forests by evaluating tree-rings. Ariel has been involved in several projects related to conservation and protection of forests and hydrological natural resources with indigenous and rural communities in Chile. He brings to GreenRoots his expertise for projects related to conservation of nature and natural resources.

Mirella, a Peruvian national and globetrotter, is an international consultant on rural development and natural resource management policies and monitoring for different development organizations including the World Bank, FAO, and DFID. She has worked in multiple geographic regions including Latin America, Sub Saharan Africa, and South Asia. Her works involves policy analysis and advisory work to governments on policy strategy, improved effectiveness with the implementation of cutting edge monitoring tools, ICT-led innovation and institutional building capacity. Mirella holds a bachelor degree in Economics from Universidad del Pacifico, Lima, Peru; and a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA.

Lydia is originally from Spain. She is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Regina. Her interests are in the field of Psychology. Lydia has experience volunteering in different organizations. She was the president for two years at Precarios Málaga, a Spanish organization dedicated to fight for the rights of the Spanish young researchers and the development of Science in Spain. She has also been member of the Association of Equality for Gender for University Students (Asociacion de Igualdad de Genero Universitaria), an association oriented to the promotion of equal opportunities between women and men, and the transmission of equality values among young people in order to prevent violence against women since 2007. He brings to GreenRoots strong research skills as well as cultural, social, environmental awareness knowledge.

Eduardo is originally from Peru with extensive experience in the areas of financial planning and controlling. Eduardo has led many major multinationals to obtain satisfactory results in the pharmaceutical and technological sectors. His strong interest in social work to society has taken him to be part of clown workshops to provide community outreach and joy in hospitals and in different places where necessary. Eduardo is constantly looking to contribute to his community by supporting local animals organizations in his hometown in Lima. Eduardo holds a BA in Business Management and he is currently working on his MBA at the European Business School, Madrid, Spain. His experience managing large financial projects are a great asset to GreenRoots.
